I ordered from zulusgames.com and, after checking my order email and receipt, everything with the purchase itself looked fine. The game did show up more worn than I expected, though. The box had some dents and the cards weren’t in the best shape. It’s still usable, so I can’t say it was a total loss, but it wasn’t quite the condition I was hoping for.

I figured this would be quick since I got the email saying my order was ready, but nope. I showed up for local pickup and they couldn’t find it at first. Staff did eventually track it down, but my immediate takeaway was that the whole pickup process felt disorganized. I ended up waiting around longer than I expected.

"Finally, rewards that don’t feel like a scam"
I’ve been using Zulus Games for a while now, the loyalty rewards are actually solid. I went in expecting the usual nonsense because so many sites make rewards sound great and then barely give you anything, which is just annoying. But here, the points added up faster than I thought, and I ended up getting some decent bonuses out of it. The site is easy enough to use too. It’s not perfect, and there are still little things they could fix, but at least the rewards feel worth sticking around for.

"Pretty good snacks and drinks while gaming"
I went to Zulus Games with a friend, and I was actually kind of surprised by the food. The snacks seemed fresh, definitely better than the dry, basic stuff you sometimes get at game spots.
The drinks were solid too, cold and made quickly. Nothing super fancy or anything, but it was good enough and nice to have while hanging out and playing. I’d probably go back again.

"Terrible Packaging, Somehow the Game Made It"
The packaging was bad, and I had to just sit there and hope for the best while opening it, which is not the kind of patience I wanted to be forced into. Luckily, the game somehow survived, but it definitely could’ve been packed way better.

"Bad timing and limited payment options"
I tried buying a game on zulusgames.com, but the payment options really didn’t work for me. Of course this happened right when I finally had a little time to grab the game and start playing, so the timing was frustrating. I couldn’t use my usual payment method, and the checkout process just felt like more hassle than it needed to be. After a few attempts, I gave up. Maybe it works fine for other people, but for me it just ended up wasting my time.

Zulusgames has a solid selection, I found a few things there that I haven’t really seen on other sites. Some of the categories could be a bit easier to browse though, it took me a little longer than expected to find what I wanted. Overall I’m happy with the choices, just not totally perfect, so it’s 4 stars from me.

I stopped by the Zulus Games shop the parking was super easy. It was right nearby, so I didn’t have to circle around forever getting annoyed before even going in. I hate wasting time waiting or hunting for a spot, so that alone made the whole visit a lot better.

I ordered from Zulus Games and the shipping felt a little slower than I was expecting. It wasn’t awful or anything, and I’m sure it still arrived within a reasonable time, but it did take longer than I thought it would. The package showed up in good condition though, so overall it was fine. I’d probably order again, but hopefully shipping is a bit quicker next time

I sent in a few old games I wasn’t using anymore and got the credit a few days later. The process was straightforward, and I’d say it went smoothly overall. One of the prices came in a bit lower than I expected, but everything else was fine and I was happy enough with the experience.

The tournaments themselves are usually okay, but the scheduling gets messy way too often. After a while, it’s hard to trust that things will actually run when they’re supposed to, which takes a lot of the fun out of it
